"Blue Velvet" by Margie Daniels
Bio
Margie Daniels signed on with Walt Disney Feature Animation in 1988 and since then she has had a hand in bringing dozens of Disney’s most beloved characters to life.
About her art, she writes: “I still get that ‘edge of my seat’ feeling whenever I’m painting or throwing pots on a wheel. It’s an active, constantly-changing image with every brushstroke or turn making its own impression.”
